Post Vacation Weigh In

So after being on vacation for over a week, and eating what I want and when I want I was happy to see that I didn’t kill my progress too much.  My weigh in today was 206.6 #’s.   My goal by the end of March is to get below 200#’s.  How I approach getting there I’m still grappling with.  Ultimately the low carb approach sucks.  Maybe a “less” carb approach with 8 hours to eat, and 16 hours for fasting will prove beneficial.  We’ll see….

First Beer of the Year

Made it to the airport, and through security. We are officially starting vacation and scuttling the diet for the duration of our trip. Here is Beth enjoying her first beer of 2013! Dinner? Chili cheese fries and Mac and cheese flatbread.

I Can Has Yoga

I did Yoga for the 2nd time ever tonight.  I have no idea what I was doing, or why, but it felt really good.  I think it’s something I could really embrace and I already see how it relieves stress.  It will be interesting to observe how my technique (if I can even call it technique) and form will progress, and how long it will take to “get it”.  I have some pretty serious repetitive injuries with my shoulders that keep me from feeling comfortable with many of the poses, but the instructor seems to be able to come up with modifications for me.
